The conversation classes have an attendance of between 4-8 people and take place at my home in Strawberry Hill. Each week the classes centre around a new topic on anything from Bakeoff to current events in the Francophone world. We also focus on common French phrases and bizarre colloquial expressions that students can take away and use on holiday.
I run weekly French conversation classes on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings between 10am and 13pm. These sessions are aimed at adults looking to practice their spoken French in a friendly, inclusive and relaxed atmosphere.
I provide my students with audiovisual materials to work with, including short videos, French magazine articles and exercises provided by the French Institute. I also encourage my students to do short 5 minute presentations of their choice each week, after which we discuss the topic presented.
I host several conversation classes to suit different levels of French:
